Responsibilities

Architect and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using best practices and industry-standard tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Argo) to expedite software development and delivery.
Manage and maintain Kubernetes and Docker clusters across diverse jurisdictions with varying regulatory requirements, ensuring secure and compliant platforms.
Design, automate, and manage our infrastructure, leveraging infrastructure as code principles for agility and efficiency.
Provide specialist support for platform incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently under pressure.
Leverage scripting languages such as bash or python to automate tasks, perform health checks, and maintain system hygiene.
Develop and maintain quality UAT environments for rigorous pre-production testing.
Daily monitoring, troubleshooting and upkeep all services to ensure maximum availability.
Take part in a rotating on-call schedule

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent role.
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Gitlab, Argo, Nexus).
Strong understanding of containerization technologies
Familiarity with databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Experience in scripting languages and various automation tools (Ansible).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team between Malta, London and Romania.
